6 is the Devil's Number

......that HCG reading of 6 is tormenting me, brutally.

6.6.6 hear it? It whispers in my ear all day.
6.6.6 I see it in my coffee.
6.6.6 I even bring it to work.

I should just POAS and be done. But as you all would understand I can't let go of this twisted fantasy sooner than I have to.
If I do cross to the darkside & POAS before Tuesday's Beta I will share. OF COURSE! Who else will listen to the wailing as intently as my twisted sisters?

6. 6. 6. Even Satan isn't this sadistic!

PS: I am feeling great & MIL is making tiny improvements each day.

Urgh!
I'm glad you are feeling better. And that MIL is too.
And I would wait for your real beta, but then I have also been known to POAS far too early...

I am glad that you and MIL are feeling better. Now I am the queen of early stick peeing but..... right now you are pregnant. PREGNANT. I think even I ..... What the fuck am I talking about. Of course I couldn't wait. You are perfectly justified in stick peeing. How else will you keep your nerves frazzled and learn nothing new but feel instantly more satisfied!

Damn you Queen Krista!! Your enthusiasm has me buckling. Aren't I painful?

No, don't do it!! It will just make you CRAZY!!

No stick, I say, no stick!

Wait till the beta when all will be more definitive...

OMG, you hit the nail on the head with why I don't POAS "I can't let go of this twisted fantasy sooner than I have to." I am still p.o'd that the doctor told you that, what a mindscrew!
Glad to hear that the "girls" are all doing better. What an ordeal!

Wow, you're a strong one! I would have peed on 20 sticks (and several hard surfaces) by now. Glad that you and MIL are feeling better.

Mony!
I have relatives for a few days and LOOK what happens!!!

You didn't do an HCG trigger did you? I mean, you don't trigger for a FET, right?

So this is completely Mony-made HCG... this could be a very very good thing.

I can't wait to hear the news.
-D.

I'm not a fan of pee sticks, besides I like to hang on to the fantasy too.
Hang in there, both you and your MIL.

Leave that stick alone...for a while or whenever you are allowed to do it!

My supermarket Clubcard points were 666 yesterday!

Em that's spooky. That 6 is even following you!

I don't have the courage to POAS. I would pee all over my hand and that's just not stylish. Is it?

Oh my goodness, I love your personality and voice. I've been reading blogs like crazy and trying to learn the crazy acronyms, but this is the first time I've written anything. My husband and I have been TCC for three+ years and we just went through our first IVF cycle--My ET was also Friday, July 14th.

I think a 6 HCG is fabulous for only two days after transfer--wow! I am not brave enough to POAS yet because I think if it were negative I'd be on the bathroom floor for days (and it hasn't been cleaned in a while).

I'll be thinking of your embryos and mine as I travel to visit my in-laws this weekend (we live in Missouri in the U.S.).

Thanks for the humor--Ashleigh

Welcome Ashleigh.
Make sure you come back & the only acronym I want from your lips is OMG! BFP! JILOPG! (Ok...made that last one up)

I am SO happy that both you and MIL are feeling well!!

I still think a 6 at 2 days post transfer is a thing of beauty... no matter how many times you conjure the devil.

But leave those sticks alone. Those things truly are the tools of demons.

I just read your previous post. As awful as that whole experience must have been, I couldn't help but laugh out loud at the image of the hairy-legged, vomit-haired, farting woman on the hospital bed. They may very well have seen worse, but we just don't want it to be us!

6. That sucks. By now, it could be more ... or it could be less. I don't think the stick will be your answer though. My idea is that we're paying them enough money for everything ... I'm not spending any more on a damn pee-stick as well. At least your blood test will give you another number.

Good luck for Tuesday.

Well I'm glad I checked in today! Now I'll have to click back obsessively on Tuesday. I am all alone here in the house and roaring like a maniac at your previous post .... you write in a way that gives very vivid images which I will now struggle to rid my mind of...hehe

Your will power amazes me. Is your beta on Tuesday? That's only 9 days post transfer right?

I had my transfer on the 14th, beta on the 25th...so 11 days.
