Bleh. Twice.

A quick post.
I am unwell. My afternoon sickness has morphed into all day & all night sickness. I am vomiting alot. After every meal. In fact, before every meal. My kidneys are playing up. Ultrasound reveals they are not draining well, which causes considerable pain. So, I am drugged up, laid out & counting the days. I also had my 2 hour GB tolerance test this week. I don't know the results yet.
Yuck.
OB/Gyn on Friday.
Hope everyone is faring well xx

Oh, this is no good. May you feel better soon, may your kidneys stop being naughty, and may your GD test give you the all clear. Hang in there. xo

Just to let you know...when you're sick or under stress you can have naturally elevated blood glucose levels...so if your levels come back only slitghtly elevated...you might want to ask for another test. You may not really have GD(of course they may come back just fine...but just in case) and may just be fighting off an infection or something viral...and a week later your numbers might be fine again...

Good luck,
A

Lurker here. I just wanted to say ouch about your kidneys. I can't imagine how painful that must be. And the m/s surely doesn't help anything. I hope you're feeling better soon and the glucose testing goes well! XOXO
