Waiting For Dada..
In the afternoons we wait for Daddy to come home from work. The dog, the child & the wife keep our 6 ears peeled for his familiar V8 engine to pull into the carport. Sometimes I let Cooper watch the afternoon traffic creep down our street. The shops & school nearby guarantee a steady stream of people to study. Bicycles, skateboards, pedestrians & leashed dogs keep him fascinated.
He's an appalling busybody. His brow is often furrowed.

He is well known for his serious facial expressions. Particularly when modelling one of my special Origami Catalogue Hats.

I totally dig how kids love other kids. Cooper has a completely different demeanour around other children. His guard is down. His spirit beams. He befriends other children in a blink. Adults require alot more sussing out & studying before he'll even think about a smile. I love that about little babes. Gorgeous creatures!
