..AHHH..I remember now.

Into our 2nd year of ttc I found out that my left fallopian tube was blocked.
Into our 3rd year of ttc....the right one decided to follow suit.
This news effectively ruled out a natural, or surprise conception from EVER occurring. We would definately need IVF to have a chance of falling pregnant..
It meant that I no longer hoped or secretly fantasised that each month was our month....It made the 2ww non existant.

I had those fallopian tubes removed last year. Good riddance I said. I'd never felt healthier.

Since the embryo transfer on Monday (Wham, Bam..Thank you Ma'am) I have officially begun my first hopeful 2ww in a looooong time.

I'd forgotten the agony.

The scruitinising. The hope. The praying. The desperation. The possiblilities.

Am I?
Amn't I?

......miserable 2ww........exciting 2ww!.......miserable 2ww....exciting 2ww!....etc..

*Whimper*

I used to try and pretend I wasn't in a 2ww for as long as possible. That would usually last for 1w.
Try not to get too caught up in all the symptoms yet ... fingers crossed for you.

I'm nearing the end of my 2WW and they always suck. Thinking of you and hoping this is your month.

Oh Mony, I so, so want this for you! The only thing I can think of to make the 2ww go by quicker is to go to sleep earlier and sleep longer! When will they finish with that damn time machine anyway...

If it's any comfort... the other week there was an article in the newspaper saying that there were something like 100,000 embies on ice in Australia, because more couples than ever were getting a BFP from their 1st IVF... here's hoping that means YOU!
My assvice for the 2WW - just relax!

kidding, I'm kidding...

Two weeks is a long time. It was a long time back when I was in college and lived paycheck to paycheck, and it's a long time during the 2ww.

It'd be nice to sleep through it.

I so understand.
You're on my mind.

Semi-hopeful two week waits are long enough. But the two week wait after a fresh or frozen IVF transfer is the longest of all. It's hard, I know, but it will pass eventually. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I can totally relate to your post - I haven't had a hopefully 2ww since June 05, since we found out about the azoospermia.... AF was simply a reminder that yes, yet another cycle had past that we weren't pregnant - but the NEVER thinking "maybe this is OUR month..." was a welcomed break in a twisted way!!

When do you test? I'm guessing around March 6th? I'm 4 days behind you (our ET was Feb 24th)

+++ thoughts all the way +++
