For Better For Worse..

I was a bridesmaid Ten times before I became a Bride myself in 2002.
A real life Muriel. A Spinster, fuck it all.
I never thought I would get to be the frilly, fluffy Bridezilla.
I should have had more faith.

My dress cost $400. I was a blushing budget bride.
And sooo not a Bridezilla.
My husband is a smart man. He saw potential in me straight away
(well, straight after he'd seen my knockout cleavage)
Still hanging on, honey.

Weeeeeee! We can do this!

What do you mean you've LOST YOUR DIMPLES??? NO!! Bring on the nausea, the weight gain, the back pain, the constant urination, the acne, bloody gums, stretch marks and whatever other trivial bullshit that people who have achieved successful pregnancy complain about. I can take whatever pregnancy has to give -- but LOSING MY DIMPLES?? I am totally not prepared.

You were a stunning bride.

Monday and Tuesday are around the corner... may the hours die off quickly. You're in my prayers.

This post touched me a lot... it reminded of my weeding day, of how my husband and I :saw potential “ in each other and all the things my husband and I and went through in our almost 7 years of marriage and we became stronger because of it... In the near future I hope that all of this will be part of our collection of battles won!!!

You were a gorgeous bride... and I am so happy to see you holding on to your hope and believing things will be OK. I am holding on my breath with you and praying and hoping for the best outcome possible. Take care and thanks for sharing the pictures

You're a beautiful bride!

I too was a budget bride. My dress cost $500 and my entire wedding and honeymoom cost under $3000. Of course, we eloped to Jamaica so we got off easy!

Still keeping you in my prayers hon! I hope the time flies by....

Dang straight you can do it! I'm thinking of you... and thinking of that gorgeous woman in that gorgeous dress.

You're a beauty, Miss Mony.

Holding your hand for the next few days. xoxoxoxox

Beautiful pics without a trace of Bridezilla-ness. And I love your bouquet. Almost as much as your bridal car!

Good to dwell on the beauty and love in your life at this point Mony. Hang in there.

What great pics! No Bridezilla there Mony hon. And that golfcart!? You go girl! *snaps fingers*

Like you, I got myself a pretty inexpensive dress ($500) and the whole event cost us less than $3000 (we got married at a lighthouse and had the reception at my parents' home). It was so worth it; we have wonderful memories.

Love (and life) are crazy rides. But together, you'll make it.

Stunning, and freaking hot...didn't get a too good look at the cleavage though, so can't comment on that :-).

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck tomorrow for your amnio. I have all the hope and faith in the world that Hef will be just as perfect as he can be....I mean with a name like Hef, what could not be perfect, right?

Many hugs.

That's quite a lovely budget wedding dress!

Continuing to pray for you here, Mony.

Also, nothing about your wedding looks "budget" to me! I, too, got a dress for under $500 - I would have felt weird doing anything else!
