Tidbits.
Our dog, Janis has taken to her new house mate with indifference. This is a great relief. She has been our spoilt "baby" for 7 years.....thoroughly ruined in every way. I feared she would display jealously toward Cooper & struggle with her new life as a (shhhh) D-O-G. Unfortunately for Cooper, I have spent the last 7 years saying "Good Girl" to the mutt & this seems to be a difficult phrase to give up. If Cooper burps, I automatically say "Good Girl!" If he co-operates during a nappy change I coo "Good Girl!".....much to my husband's horror!
I took Cooper to the shops in his fancy stroller. I love pushing him around. I am hopeless at manoeuvring though. I think I ran over about 15 sets of toes. Oops.
...Cooper & I also watched "Footloose" through the week. Oh My God. How much do I love that movie? We particularly liked the closing credits..."Let's Hear It For The Boy" was the song playing and I jigged around holding Cooper. It wasn't until I sang the line "Let's hear it for my baby".....that I began to bawl my eyes out.
It's still overwhelming.
Much like Kevin Bacon's dance moves.

Is your dog part pitt? She is so cute! Your boy....is BEAUTIFUL!!! What a great picture.
Janis is a Staffordshire Terrier. She has a menacing bark, but is a complete wimp!
oh mony- he looks great! just seeing him all warm and snuggly in his blanket given me hope for my own little preemies in their little isolettes.
so happy he's home!
Janis and Cooper are beautiful. I am so curious to see how our pack will react to the new human.
I can so see you crying over the lyrics. Reading about it made me choke up. I was singing The Supremes "Baby Love" in the shower and it made me cry.
He looks amazing.
You take some truly beautiful pictures of lil Cooper, Mony,

I hope I don't slip up and say 'good girl' to our soon-to-arrive son, but I imagine I will slip up here and there - you get so used to saying something it just comes out!
I'm quite sure that the owners of any toes you may have run over were too distracted by your beautiful boy to notice!
Your boy is a doll! Really really cute picture! Footloose is a classic! My husband VERY frequently gets comments about how much he looks like Kevin Bacon. I guess I really should show the twins Footloose soon!
Love that movie! Can just imagine you dancing, and crying! So pleased things are working out well with your dog and the new arrival. As for the toes...they shoulda moved them!
Oh his like the cutest little pea in a pod....
Love Love Love.....
